This warranty covers electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools.

If your product becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 2 years from the date of purchase, we guarantee to repair or replace the item free of charge.

This warranty covers any material defect in torque control tools.

However, it does not cover problems with the accuracy or repeatability of the torque tool, as it is normal for a tool to lose accuracy during use. This is why ISO 6789 recommends checking (or calibrating) the tool at least once a year or every 5000 cycles (see the article on Torque Calibration)

• During the warranty period, tools are repaired and returned with a certificate of conformity.
This concerns problems related to a manufacturing defect or poor workmanship, such as a ratchet head that no longer functions. Deterioration of a torque tool due to over tightening or misuse is not covered by the warranty.

• After the warranty period, a repair quote is provided: the tool will be repaired if the quote is accepted and accompanied by a certificate of conformity.

This warranty covers the entire range of metal storage.

• It covers any potential failure of the sheet metal (welds, paint, etc.).

If your product becomes defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 5 years from the date of purchase, we guarantee to repair or replace the item free of charge.

• It does not cover accessories available as spare parts (locks, slides, wheels, etc.).

Any product claimed to be defective will be repaired or replaced, dependent on the warranty provided, free of charge if when returned to us carriage paid, examination confirms such defect - we reserve the right to repair tools, or replace defective parts only, rather than replace the complete article.

The warranty terms do not extend to fair wear and tear, in particular of wearing parts, failure to use the product for its intended manufactured purpose or in accordance with our instructions, neglect or inadequate maintenance on the part of the user. 

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. reserve the right to inspect all tools being claimed under warranty. Where products come with limited warranty periods, Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. reserve the right to request proof of purchase to ensure that the product in question falls within the warranty period.
