We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees.

Throughout the year, we provide training in identifying key specific risks and implementing preventive measures against the most common injuries in the manufacturing industry. Each site has its own improvement program, within the framework of ISO 45001 certification for operational sites.

In 2023, we rolled out 54 training actions in the following key areas:

• Machine safety to prevent accidents related to industrial equipment
• Interactions between lifting equipment/pedestrians to ensure worker safety in handling areas
• Lockout/tagout to prevent accidents related to equipment maintenance
• Work surfaces/slips, trips, and falls to ensure worker safety in the workplace
• Ergonomics to prevent musculoskeletal disorders and improve working comfort
• Hand tools, and more particularly cutting tools, to ensure worker safety when using manual tools.

At FACOM, we are committed to youth and training, which is why we partner with several major events. We believe that young people represent the future of our company and our society, and we are determined to help them reach their full potential.

We are therefore proud to support Worldskills, an international organization that promotes excellence in trades and skills.
We support young talents by providing them with quality equipment and tools to help them excel in their respective fields.

Similarly, we are partners of the Alpine Mechanical Excellence Competition and Formula Student, two competitions that encourage young people to develop their passion for mechanics and acquire the skills needed to succeed in their careers.

FOCUS on the SLP program

The SLP is a global, comprehensive, skills-based program designed to develop the next generation of Stanley Black & Decker leaders.

This multi-year program offers high-potential early-career employees the opportunity to complement quality professional experiences with stimulating learning and development experiences.

Program members participate in a comprehensive learning curriculum designed to strengthen skills and acquire the tools needed to become a results-driven leader.

FACOM is committed to the community and proudly supports several charitable causes.
We believe that businesses have a social responsibility towards the community and must give back. That's why we have partnered with charitable organizations to help those in need. We are proud to support causes such as the fight against hunger, health, and sports.
In particular, we are happy to support the Restos du cœur in their mission to eliminate hunger in France.

Finally, we ardently support the Rallye du cœur, dedicated to the fight against pediatric cancers.
